Basic Facts and Types about Thread Lifting

Hello, we're Marble Plastic Surgery that gives you happiness ^^
Today we will discuss about one of the many anti-aging treatments that has received attention, namely thread lifting. As we age, the elasticity of the skin will decrease, and the skin layer and facial fat will loosen and fall. After chin surgery / cheekbones, the skin of the cheeks will wrinkle and shrink. This causes the chin line to go down and wrinkles and causes saggy skin.
To get a sharp chin line, it can also be done with V-line injection or chin liposuction, but both of these procedures only removes fat in the chin area and do not remove loose skin which does not improve the elasticity of the skin.
For this case, what is needed is a thread lifting procedure, because it can solve 2 problems: saggy skin and and skin that lacks elasticity.

So what is thread lifting?

Thread lifting is a process that promotes cell regeneration and collagen production by injecting dissolving thread into the skin's dermis, which improves the elasticity and wrinkles of the skin for a clear facial line.

So what are the areas that thread lifting can be performed?

Thread lifting can be performed in:
  • Forehead
  • Eyebrows
  • Crow's Feet
  • Cheeks
  • Nasolabial Folds
  • Chin
  • Transverse neck lines
Also, there are 3 types of thread lifting which are:  Elasticum, Power Cog, and Mint lifting.

Elasticum uses a special elastic band. Unlike other thread lifting, elasticum can be applied from face to body and its effect last up to 5 years.

Power Cog is a thread lifting procedure that lifts saggy skin using PDO thread that has COG(hooks) in both directions. It has a higher lifting effects than normal thread lifting and has instant effects.

Mint Lifting is using special thread that has 360 degree hooks which shows the most stable and strong effect of lifting.
Thread lift is done by local anesthesia for about 30 minutes, and the recovery period is quite short. Therefore it can be done during weekends or holidays.
